We would like a new feature to be implemented. This is (semi) not snarky. Tumblrs should be allowed to make a message private to another Tumblr. This is not a new concept, nor, we should think, a very difficult one to implement. In so doing, you would enable the Tumbltards to not treat Tumblr like AIM. Once you enable this private messaging system, you will make Tumblr a safer (read: less obnoxious) place for everyone.
