...The “Like” re-explored.
Now that there is a “like” archive of sorts, a new use for it has been introduced: that of a bookmark. Though this option was clamored for, it has now created the unpleasant sensation of seeing the entirety of the posts one has liked, with all the perhaps sub-par material easily at hand. It has also made it no more possible to find the things one actually wanted to bookmark and come back to later, since between the recipes or helpful Excel tricks and you are a multitude of lolcats and 30 Rock quotes.
The “like” archive seems to have actually decreased the amount of likes on Tumblr, since watching that number go inexorably upward is a daunting omnipresence on the right side. We recommend that if you want to come back to a post later, you should be meritorious and sparing with your “likes”. Otherwise, continue as you were.
